- Many Bangladeshis enjoy watching and/or playing cricket. This is usually a good point of conversation and a way to bond with your Bangladeshi counterpart.
- Although some Muslim Bangladeshi women wear a hijab, the law does not officially force this practice upon them. For many women, it is a matter of personal choice and to preserve family honour.
